So this is what I have been busy with the last few days!! Aren’t these potholders just gorgeous!?!!
I was just browsing around and came across this delightful lady and her website. Her patterns are fun and oh so pretty!
These potholders can be displayed hanging on a wall ( and they would look so pretty to have a grouping of them kind of hanging over a basket), or can be used to set a pot on that’s a little too warm to just set on your table or counter top.
I had lots of cotton yarn lying around (but this pattern really only requires small amounts of different colors) and when I found this, I just HAD to do them!! These are really VERY EASY to do, as well as addicting. 😉 The only stitches required to know are the slip stitch, half-double crochet, and the double crochet stitch. She does tell you to use crochet cotton. Remember, if you decide to use your acrylic yarns, they need to be for display only! Heat will melt the acrylic 😉
